Midway Companies began as Midway Development Co., Inc. in 1968 with the development of a 160-acre Dallas-area pasture into Metropolitan Business Park, located at the intersection of LBJ – Loop 635 and Midway Road. Midway, led by its founders, James A. Moran and Henry Hoffman, became a prominent and respected developer of commercial projects and land throughout the Southwest and Midwest. Over the years, Midway integrated the full scope of development and property management services. Midway continues this full-service approach in developing commercial and residential projects today.
In 1983, Midway opened its Houston office under the direction of Bradley R. Freels. The Houston office continued to expand its capabilities and, in 1990, Midway's corporate office was permanently moved to Houston. At this time the company was renamed Midway Companies to better reflect the host of real estate-related services we provide. |
