Baptist Mission Centers Celebrates Opening of New Home for Missionaries

Houston, Texas ─ For over 45 years, Baptist Mission Centers (BMC) have worked to transform the lives of people living in Houston’s inner city and the people who serve them. BMC celebrated the official opening and ribbon cutting of the latest edition to the organization’s Gano Mission Center site: the recently completed Mildred McWhorter Missionary Building. What started as a dream in 1999 for the BMC Board of Directors has become a reality, and the new facility brings much-needed safe and efficient housing for missionaries, in addition to office space for staff volunteers.

This project was made possible from the financial gifts of generous donors and the project management leadership of Midway Companies.
