Mr. Merecki joined Midway in June 2007 as Vice President of Leasing and is responsible for the overall leasing of Midway’s projects. With over 15 years of experience in working for leading developers of market dominant shopping centers, including Taubman, Madison Marquette, and CBL Properties, Shawn brings extensive leasing experience and relationships with major national specialty retailers that occupy mixed use, life-style, and existing retail shopping centers.

As an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Shawn maintains the accreditation of Senior Certified Leasing Specialist.

Mr. Merecki received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
