Don Thomas is an Executive Vice President with Midway Companies in charge of activities associated with new project development, including site selection, due diligence, design construction and pricing. 

Don joined Midway in 2000 bringing with him over 24 years of commercial sales, leasing and development experience, including eight years as President of IIG Commercial Developers, a Monterrey, Mexico-based commercial developer with holdings in Texas for over 23 years.  Don has been fully responsible for the sale, leasing or development of over eight million square feet of industrial / commercial office and warehouse space.  He was also instrumental in the creation of the City of Houston's Freeport Exemption program.

Don is a graduate of the University of Houston with a bachelors degree of Industrial Technology.  He is a past President of the Houston NAIOP chapter and currently serves on key advisory boards with the Greater Houston Partnership and the University of Houston.
