The University Apartments Project at Texas A&M University consists of 250 apartment units for graduate and married students.  The project is the first phase to replace a total of 650 apartment units that were built in the late 1940s and 50s.  The apartments will feature many market based amenities to compete with similar private apartment complexes in the College Station market.  Texas A&M University will own and operate the units upon completion.  The units will be ready for occupancy in August 2010.
